A Rock Opera of Worlds Within Worlds

Overview
War of the Wills is a thirteen-part concept album structured like a Jeff Wayne–style theatrical narration: spoken sections, system/AI “voices,” ensemble choirs, and character vignettes woven around a recurring orchestral motif. But where War of the Worlds is one civilisation invaded by another, this album inverts the premise, there is no external invasion. Every “invasion,” every “collapse,” every “anomaly” turns out to be human systems (media, governments, algorithms, summits) renaming their own instability so they never have to admit it’s happening. The aliens that recur throughout the album aren’t antagonists; they’re a chorus of outside observers quietly logging how often humans agree on things without understanding them.
The album resolves from satire into stillness the first eight tracks escalate through bureaucratic, algorithmic, and geopolitical doublespeak; the second half pulls back into something gentler: emergence, infrastructure, arrival, and finally rest.
